tokyosnowmonkeys.com is an independent comparison site for snow monkey day trips from Tokyo to Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano. It is not the official site of any tour operator, coach company or driver, and it is not run by Jigokudani Yaen-koen, the town of Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture or any tourist board.

How this site is funded
Links to GetYourGuide and Viator are affiliate links. When a booking follows a click on one of them, the booking site pays us a referral fee out of its own margin, so the price you see is unchanged. That fee does not buy a place in our ranking or soften the catches we describe, and we earn the same whichever of the two sites you choose.
Your contract is with the tour operator, concluded through GetYourGuide or Viator. They take payment and deal with changes, cancellations and refunds; we cannot do any of that for you. We neither run nor sell tours, and we have no ties to any operator, to the monkey park, to Japan Railways, to Nagano Prefecture or to any other public body.
Liability for content
Prices, ratings, inclusions, meeting points and cancellation terms come from the listings on GetYourGuide and Viator. We show the regular "from" prices in US dollars as approximate figures; the booking sites often show offers on top, the same tour can cost a different amount on each site, and review counts grow every day. We have not taken every tour ourselves. Because listings and prices change, only what the booking site shows in the booking step is binding. Despite careful research, we accept no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content.
Our notes on the monkeys, park rules and fees, trains and buses, weather, clothing, ages and accessibility summarize public information and do not replace information from the operators or the park. Park fees, opening hours and bus timetables change; check with the operator or the park before you rely on them.
Liability for links
This site links to third-party content, mainly GetYourGuide, Viator and Wikipedia. Their content is the sole responsibility of their providers. At the time of linking, no legal violations were apparent. If we become aware of any, we will remove the link promptly.

The tour photos, including the photo at the top of the home page, are served by GetYourGuide and by Tripadvisor (Viator's image service) or come from their listings, and remain the property of their owners.

We do not set cookies for analytics or advertising and collect no data except the messages you send us. Which services still process data, such as the host and the booking sites, is explained in our privacy policy.
